ReplyDeleteThis book on the picture was called "The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova.
It is a very good book!!! I loved it! It has the fictional vampire lore (which I love) but also good history points and great travel views descriptions.
Now I am reading, "The Eight" by Katherine Neville, which is about chess and the chess board of Montglane, and besides the fiction it has good historic remarks about the french revolution and so on...
