Etsy Find!!!!

There is a long time I don't do one of those ah?!
Well, I was browsing through yet another newsletter, now from Etsy (see, I told you I have tons of those) and then I stumbled into those!

How gorgeous are those beds!
First, I LOOOVE metal framed beds!
Second, look at that cute bed-head, small, delicate (like if it would fit all my junk! ahhahaha Well, not really junk! Mostly books and magazines and notebooks... I can't live without them!)
Third, I LOOOOOOOOOOVE big pillows piled up in a freshly made bed (even though all I have are the mounts of pillows, the freshly made is a bit hard to keep :-/ oops!) and those white! hmmm hmmm hmmm! LOVE!

I feel already like falling asleep and having sweet dreams ;-)

Já faz um bom tempinho que eu não trago um achado da etsy ah?!
Pois muito bem, estava eu a percorrer por mais uma das minhas infinitas listas de emails, só que agora da Etsy, quando me deparei com essas belezuras!

QUE LINDO!
Primeiro, eu simplesmente AMO camas com moldura de metal!
Segundo, olha só que delicadeza essas mesinhas de cabeceiras, tão delicadas (até parece que eu poderia ter tal coisita na minha cabeceira... não cabe nem metade das minhas tranquilharias... hahahahha tranquilharias não... metade são livros e revistas e cadernos!!! Não vivo sem eles!!!)
Terceiro, eu AMO AMO AAAAAAAAAMO travesseiros e almofadas gigantes em uma cama arrumadinhas (se bem que da minha parte eu só mantenho os travesseiros... o arrumadinho fica para a TODO LIST hahahaha :-/ oops!) e branco! hmmm hmmm hmmm

Já estou até começando a me sentira mais sonolenta...

Coasters {by Real Simple}

I usually receive the Real Simple magazine newsletter.
Is quite fun to see tips for organising better the house (if only I really followed them) or the new trends in dress, make up and so on and on (like I don't receive enough newsletter about those things already...)

More of the same goes along with the more the merrier in this case ;-)

Anyway, coming back to the original track.
Yesterday on the Today's Find they got beautiful coasters displayed! Above you can see my favourite ones! Confetti is happy, golden ALWAYS and the third one reminds me of zentangle (which I am now putting my hands on it ;-) but more of it later :-P)

But my main reason to write this post, besides the fact that those are very cute coasters and that maybe I want some new ones for my house myself ;-) Is because when I looked at the golden one, my first reaction was going down memory lane!
When I was kid, we had those coasters at home from ships, with anchor, saving boats, helm and even a carafe of rum! I had this game to see which drawing each one got and the winner had to get the helm and looser the anchor :-P (adults always liked the carafe, which I only really fully understood later :-P). It was so much fun! And then later with my brother, he did the same thing! Had the same idea for the game! :D
Now I come to think! I really need some fun new coaster at home so my kid can also play with it!

TODO LIST: get new coaster! ;-)

Eu geralmente recebo um boletim de notícias (newsletter) da Revista Real Simple! Pq vc sabe, nunca é demais mais notícias sobre o que está na moda sobre vestidos, bolsas e maquiagem e além do mais, ela trás dicas de como organizar melhor a casa (eu agora só preciso seguir tais dicas ;-) :-P )

Mas enfim, voltando ao tema principal!
Ontem, nos achados do dia, vieram vários porta copos LINDOS! Aí acima vc vê os meus prediletos: confete sempre me faz sorrir, dourado pra SEMPRE e o último me lembra muito zentangle (que eu comecei a experimentar a fazer a pouco tempo atrás. Mas isso fica para um próximo post ;-))

Mas além de lindos, o que mais me chamou atenção mesmo, foi o túnel do tempo que eu entrei ao olhar para eles.
Quando eu era criança, em casa nós tínhamos esses porta copos sobre navios, como leme, âncora, salva-vidas, garrafas de rum... e eu tinha essa brincadeira de olhar quem pegou qual desenho, leme era o vencedor, âncora o perdedor (se bem que os adultos gostavam mesmo era da garrafa de um, o que eu levei um tempinho para entender :-P ahhahahahhaha)
E depois, quando o meu irmão cresceu um pouquinho, ele tb fazia a mesma brincadeira! :-D
Agora, me lembrando disso, eu me dei conta de que eu realmente preciso de novos porta-copos aqui pra casa! Os meus são tão simples... E eu gostaria de ter essas brincadeiras com meu filhote tb! <3 p="">
TODO: Comprar porta copos novos!!! Uhuhhhhhh

Wall confetti

Other day I saw this cute idea, on pinterest, of giant colorful confetti to decorate your wall, so today I've decided to try it...

Here is the result.
The living room is so colorful now and the baby goes around owwwww when looking at it, so I guess it was mission accomplished!

Halloween decor!

So... still two weeks to Halloween, but is the preparation that makes the party! (even more if you are in a place where it is not really celebrated...)

Well, I like it! And I am having loads of fun in decorating the house! :-D

My other zen corner

Hello lovelies!

How are you doing?
Hope you are all having a lovely week, even though it is a quite gray one for us at NL.

This week will be a bit different from usual... and will soon become my new ususal... This thursday I will be back to work... Yeah... sleepless nights and double working days, without counting the fact that I will be missing the little one so f*&@ much!

Anyway... I can only "keep calm and carry on"... right!?
And... talking about this, here it goes another bit of my house that I think you didn't know... this ( http://www.etsy.com/listing/79926705/beautiful-crocheted-halloween-beanie-hat ) is not my only zen corner... in fact, I have three! And today I am sharing with you the one in my room!

This is my meditation corner... except for the fact that I haven't been meditating, I always get calmer when I look at it! (perfect for this week ah? ;-) )

Today this corner gained a new addition, the mecitation girl with an incense was a late birthday gift from my brother! So lovely! :-)

Como esta indo a semana de vcs?
Espero que esteja tudo bem, muito embora essa seja uma semana cinza para a galera aqui na Holnda... (clima idiota!)

Nesta semana tudo vai mudar... eu volto a trabalhar... sim, noites mal dormidas e trabalho e dobro pelo dia... sem contar a saudade que eu vou estar sentindo do meu filhote durante o dia... :-(

De qq maneira... o geito eh manter a calma e seguir em frente, ne nao?!
E por falar em seguir em frente, eu hj vou dividir com vcs um cantinho zen aqui de casa...

Alias, hj esse cantinho recebeu uma nova adicao... a escultura em pose de lotus com o incenco foi um presente tardio do meu irmao pelo meu aniversario! Tao fofo! :-)

How to spot newbie parents

Hello lovelies!

How are you doing?

I am kind of hibernating in here... the weather is horrible... (reads rainy!) It is a bit hard to put the baby car out under the rain and enjoy a stroll in the park with sooo much mud to clean after... :-P But that's ok... he is young enough that he can still be quite entertained inside the house for long stretchs of time... if he is not sleeping, drinking or just being hold because it pleases him... hihihi

Anyhow, let's go to the title of my post... newbie parents! I think if you are not a newbie, you will take one look at the picture and understand what I am talking about!

Yeah! Hubby and I made some new arrangements in our living area... (no... I am not talking about the messy, out of place coffee table, neither the box closet full of drinks behind the baby gym :-P)... Just take a look at the whole picture! Do you see it? It took me a while but I saw.... The temptation!

Continuing, hubby and I moved our box closet under the TV, which I love it since the other house, cause you can move those boxes and create, create, create... anyway, we moved it again the organization of it, cause we put the TV on the wall and I gave hubby a new amplifier, which needed a little more space than the previous one... and then one box, which used to be in the other corner, was left... so after much consideration we decided that the front spot was the best!

Right! A few hours after we settled the box by the front, I came inside the living room and saw: the TEMPTATION! It is a stair! Calling for any kid to climb on it! jump from it! (attacking the TV from the upper part, for my despair, or jumping in the loudspeakers, for hubby's despairs!)

LOL! I know what I am talking about it... not from me... I was such a darling :-P I would probably used to store toys and sit in the corner, I aways loved corners! :-) but I can see my, always, little brother jumping on it right away! LOL!

At least I think I have around a year to re-organize this box... since right now, the little one can't reach there... but time flies... :-P

Do you have any suggestions for the spare box?

Did you pass to any newbie parents decor fault too? What was it?

Ola' meus queridos!

Como vcs estao?

O clima aqui esta uma porcaria (chove sem parar...) mas fora isso tudo bem... eu e meu menininho estamos aproveitando para dar uma hibernada... afinal de contas colocar um carrinho para fra de casa debaixo de chuva para passear na lama do parque nao eh um passeio tao desejado assim... e Raphinha ainda eh pequeno o suficiente para que o estoque de coisas para se fazer em dias chuvosos nao o deixe entediado rapidamente, ate pq, eh um pequeno intervalo de tempo entre mamadas, sonecas e colo :-P

Mas vamos ao que interessa... o titulo do post! Como reconhecer pais de primeira viajem!

Aposto que se vc tem um pouco de experiencia, vai saber do que eu estou falando so de dar uma olhadela para a foto! (nao... nao estou falando da mesinha de centro - canto no meu caso - fora do lugar, nem dos licores atras do baby gym...)

Maridao e eu andamos rearrumando nossa estante outro dia, ontem, ja que ele precisava de mais espaco/suporte para o novo amplificador (meu presente de aniversario para ele). Eu adoro essa estante, pq ela eh em modulos e vc pode criar e crias, como vc quizer... desde a outra caa que nos estamos sempre a reinventa-la!

Mas entao... com a rearrumacao, uma das caixas sobrou, antes ela ficava do outro lado, com o amplificador antigo em cima... e depois de muita consideracao, resolvemos coloca-la no canto da entrada, como vc pode ver na foto! E ai? Vc ve? Me levou algumas horinhas mas eu vi! A TENTACAO!!!

Eh uma verdadeira TENTACAO! Uma escadinha, chamando a crianca para subir nela e explorar o mundo encantado na estante... atacando a TV (para meu desepero) ou pulando em cima da caixa de som (para desespero do Pieter).

E eu falo isso por experiencia. Nao! Nao eu! Eu era um amor de crianca... no maximo meus brinquedos iriam dentro dela e eu sentaria no topo... otimo assento de canto! Sempre gostei de cantos! :-) Mas meu, para sempre, irmaozinho... consigo imagina-lo vividamente pulando nessa estante!

Bom... pelo menos nos ainda temos em torno de um ano para arrumar uma nova posicao para ela... LOL!

Vc tem alguma sugestao de como reorganiza-la?

E vc? Passou por alguma TENTACAO na decoracao da sua casa apos os filhos nascerem? Conta ai! ;-)

Hello!

How is the week so far? Hope is good!
Here we had some very hot summer days! :-) and they were very well enjoyed with nice walks and some colling down time in sunny terraces!

Anyhow... today I am here to share some home decor details with you my lovelies... What do you think of those cute butterflies? Aren't they just a happy touch!?
I won't tell you where they are, but you can try to find out! (not too difficult if you've seen other posts about my house, or have been here already)
But I am going to tell you that opens a smile on my face whenever I see them, so serene... I loooove butterflies!

Como esta a semana de vcs? Espero que esteja boa!
Aqui nos tivemos merecidos dias de verao, quente que nem no Rio! VERDADE! :-)
E sendo assim, tais dias foram devidamente aproveitados com longos passeios e paradas para reabastecimento e refresco, em bares com terraco!

Mas, vamos la... o post de hj eh na verdade para dividir um pouco da decoracao daqui de casa com vcs ;-)
O que vcs acham dessas borboletas? Elas nao dao um toque todo especial?!
Eu nao vou dizer onde eh que elas estao, mas vcs podem tentar adivinhas! (o que nao deve ser nada nada dificil para quem ja viu fotos daqui de casa, ou ja esteve por aqui)
Mas eu dizer o seguinte, elas me fazem sorrir toda vez que eu as vejo e dao um ar tao sereno ao local, mais sereno do que ja era... Eu aaaaaaamo borboletas!

Lógico que a essa altura o quarto parece um pouquinho menos organizado... e alguns dos designs originais tiveram que ser modificados após provarem não ser o mais eficiente possível... afinal de contas, em se tratando de troca de fraldas/nenem chorando/hora da comida, eficiência fala mais alto que decoração! ;-)

In fact, these lights were put before the lamp from yesterday's post... but I only managed to upload the pictures to my computer now... (time was a bit tight before... as you might have noticed for the lack of posts...)

Love the patterns and the ambience with them... so light lovely ;-)

Meu cantinho predileto!

Everyone has a preferred corner in their house.
I had a corner in the living room of my old apartment... Was so preferred that I acted like Sheldon, from the Big Bang Theory TV series, and only wanted to sit there :-P
Now I am less weird and my preferred corner is a view! :-)
I just love the zen corner of my living room sooo much!
Lovely plants and sun shining through! It brings instant smile to my face! :-)

Todo mundo tem um cantinho predileto em sua casa.
Meu canto predileto no apartamento antigo, era tão especial que eu só queria sentar naquele canto... :-p
Agora o meu canto predileto é mais uma vista!
Eu simplesmente amo o canto zen da minha sala! Plantas lindas e o sol brilahndo por trás da janela... É sorriso garantido no meu rosto! :-)
