Julia's pasta op Amsterdam Centraal

Yesterday I went to have lunch at the Amsterdam Central Station, since I was there on my way from the ind office (getting a new resident permit... well, enough of my life, I was there!) and decided to try on this new place (brand new for me, but up there since end of last year, I think) that my husband tried on while I was in Brazil.

Well, I LOVED the place! (and the food!)
Is like an italian fast food place. Can it get any better?
They have freshly made pasta in about five different sauces as choice. It is perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.

So, if you are passing through the Amsterdam Central, here goes the tip ;-) Try it out, you won't regret it! (plus, I find it soooo cute their little box :-) )

Ontem eu estava de passagem pela estação Central de Amsterdam (depois de buscar minha nova identidade) e resolvi almoçar por lá mesmo, em um restaurante novo (ou relativamente novo, já que eu acho que ele está lá desde o final do ano passado) que meu marido me indicou.

Eu AMEI o lugar! (e a comida!)

É tipo um fastfood italiano... Perfeito!

A comida é fresquinha e feita na hora, com uma escolha de 5 molhos diferentes. Perfeito para um almoço ou jantar rápido.

Se vc estiver de passada pela estação Central de Amsterda,, fica aí a dica ;-) Experimente, vc não vai se arrepender! (e no mais... eu adorei a caixinha fofo na qual vem a comida ;-) )

Pé na lama!

Hoje o meu dia não foi lá tão cor de rosa quanto eu desejava mas tudo bem. O importante é manter o alto astral ;-)

Esse é bem o meu caso...

O tempo aqui está uma loucura, chove, neva, neva chove... tá um frio horrível, as ruas estão super escorregadias e todas cheias de lama...

Como se não bastasse, muito embora a obra aqui perto de casa tenha acabado, a obra na vizinhança do meu local de trabalho não acabou... (e nem parece que vai acabar tão cedo... sighs)

O que significa EXTRA LAMA!

Pois sim! Hj eu enfiei o pé na lama enquanto me aventurando do trabalho para a estação de trem... MAS, além da raiva que eu senti na hora (sem maiores resmungos) eu lembrei IMEDIATAMENTE da música "Conquistador Barato", do Leo Jaime, que tocava na trilha sonora da novela Bambolê, de 1987!

Eu me lembro muito pouco da novela, mas eu me lembro perfeitamente que ela tinha uma trilha sonora 10!!! (eu inclusive tenho o LP!)

hahahaha, como são as coisas né?! ;-)

eu enfiei o pé na lama, literalmente, mas não cai do salto ;-)

I will be nice with the non portuguese speakers and make a quick translation here (but I am lazy and I not translating the song. Run a google on it and watch the video. It is fun!)

So... today it wasn't a very pink day as I dreamed of, but is all fine when the spirit is high!

Anyhow, the weather here is horrible cold, rainy and snowy... and close to where I work is full of constructions everywhere, which, with this weather makes a pool of mud all around... sighs...

Today, to add up to all bad luck of a gray monday, I ended up stepping in the mud on my way to the train station when leaving work...

Rage apart (but with no cursing around) I remembered of a music called "Conquistador Barato (Cheap Player)" from Leo Jaime, where he mention in a sentence, that he falls in the mud.

Well, say it in a figurative way, and with me it happens in a very literary way... still, it was fun to remember the song! :-)

This music used to play in a soap opera called Bambolê, from 1987. I don't remember much of it... but I do remember I loved its sound track, which I even have the LP.
