Amazingly enough the weather in Amsterdam is getting close to the weather in Rio... very close, except that Rio is still above 25C and Amsterdam is still below 25C!!!

My sunday was extremely relaxed and lazy... but still with some time for some home yoga...

And keeping up with the zen mood, today I went for a morning class of best body before starting my working day! It was all I needed! Best way to start a monday!

Monday Morning

I am on my way to work...
Is 10am and I already managed to cut myself and break down two trash bin bags while picking up some dirty clothes, some loose bags, trash and new lenses

After a whole week of headache... almost no-stop... now today I woke up with a horrible back pain! I can barely move!!! my whole right back side is hurting!!!

Just Life

Yesterday I woke up in the morning, put on my gym clothes and went to the gym...
50min later, with that good feeling after a good workout (which some time later would become a pain feeling, still following me today after the second day of heavy burn) and I was shopping for food, arranging the laundry, having a more complete breakfast, making lunch and getting ready to go to work...

At work, all normal... normal day going by, headache, noises outside and codes talking in codes with you...

The day pass by, we have diner, we play a bit... and I am tired... (adjusting to a morning schedule puts in bed early) and then... then my phone rings...

Is Luciana! My friend is calling my from Brazil. :-) great!
And she has AMAZING news! She just got a job, in SALVADOR! and she is moving there on monday! Yes! Next monday!

aging is a pain...

... and what a pain!

When I was in Erlangen I've engaged in morning activities for the n th time... I was able to go with it for a week only, as I got sick in the second week (maybe working out is a pain :-S)... anyway... during this week I've noticed I was more energetic, I felt healthier (and of course I did cut the coke... which in comes and goes it is restrict at some weekends and very stressed weekdays times...). Summarizing, I felt great!

Unfortunately I didn't have really time to keep up once I was back and gone again...

But today I started over... and I have to say... ALL I FEEL IS PAIN!
My legs hurt, my arms hurt and even my head is hurting (in fact exploding)...

Or working out is in fact some form of self-torture or getting old is really finally here... :'(

I didn't abandoned my blog, I am just way too busy... and struggling for internet access...

But don't feel too sorry for me... I am fine, under 23C in Athens... ;-)

Not much time for sight seeing, but is not my first time, so I am too sad, even why, I still have tomorrow evening to stroll around...

Will be back to Amsterdam by saturday afternoon and then... then you will have more news ;-)

My weekend was horrible!!! as in fact my friday too!!!

And this week is up to no good!

Nothing seems to work fine, it is way too cold and wet, I cant run under such rain or freezing wind... I can't wait to come back to Amsterdam... at least when is cold like this there, I have someone to warm me up... here all I have is...

Ah! But I did find I bakery that has the most amazing chocolate donuts ever!!!

So, I am down, and work looks like sh*t... but I do have amazing hands!!! (by friday I got me a new hand cream) and some sweet to warm me up!

Who know... luck turned a week ago... it is time to turn back...

In meanwhile you can enjoy my view!

ups and downs

Ah... the ups and downs of a week!

Well, as some of you know, I am in Erlangen... came to spend a couple of weeks to work with the software group in here...

I've arrived last sunday evening and went straight to the hotel with a package of salad and a bottle of coke... even though the first thing I saw, once out of the train station, was a big mall, and some stores, it was sunday 6pm and most of everything was closed down.

The ride was fast (the taxi one, the train one was a total of 8hrs... Thank God the German trains are spacious!!! :-) )... and the hotel looks good!

Well, the hotel is close to a high way but it has good windows, I can't hear anything from inside the hotel... and even being in the middle of nowhere, it does have some basic needs close by, like a market, a pharmacy, one restaurant and bus stops!

By tuesday I started "running" in the mornings! And gave up coke! (yes... again... I need to make sure I will still fit in my dress by may!!!)

And since monday I've been able to get up at 7:15! (I need those 15min to lazy in bed convincing myself I do need to get up and "run")

And so, for my astonishment,  by thursday, I've notice that I am glowing! A health glow that I didn't know it was really truth! (hahahha)

Anyway... as it goes, ups and downs, ups and downs (is all ups and downs)... today is friday (I still got up at 7:15 and went "running") and I am in this middle of nowhere (Pieter can only come next weekend, but hecomes! :-D ) and it is raining and it is dark and grey and I do suffer from SAD, and I don't have my lights with me...

Even though I ran, I had my hot shower and a nice breakfast and work seems running smoothly... I am crying all over the place! and feeling like s**t! With horrible hands and nails...

It is all ups and downs, ups and downs...

But ok!

The working day should get to its end, soon, and nothing that a visitation to a mall, full of lights and nice food, won't solve it! (I hope... cause this weather came to stay!!! and is not even 13th yet!!! :-O )

Well well well...

So, a happy friday night to everyone... and I will try to make the best of it ;-)
